My journey with Astrology began in 2002 as a teenager in Texas, when I discovered a fairly generic “Intro to Astrology” book in a used bookstore. I read that book in one sitting and never looked back. That book unlocked a lifelong passion and unquenchable thirst for celestial knowledge that has only deepened since.
In 2023, during the historical SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in the Film and Television Industry, I found myself at a professional crossroads, feeling called to integrate Astrology into my career. Though extremely challenging, the Saturn in Pisces transit (2023-2026) through my 10th House of Career—which aspected many of my personal planets— turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
I specialize in Traditional, Hellenistic Astrology, focusing on Whole Sign House interpretations. Having studied the works of both Demetra George and Chris Brennan, I consider Traditional Astrology the foundation for my practice. That being said, I’m increasingly interested in the overlap of Hellenistic with Evolutionary Astrology, also blending in some contemporary astrological concepts into my practice when it serves the interpretation or the discussion. That connective tissue between different seemingly conflicting perspectives is where so much magic and numinous potential awaits.
Although not currently formally certified, I am actively seeking ways to further my education and considering different Academic paths as I transition from my past professional life in the film industry. I consider it my destined calling to focus on Mundane Astrology, which is supported and informed by my undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Global Economics.
My practice is further informed by various disciplines I’ve studied and been mentored in over the years, including Tarot, Chinese Astrology, Jyotish Astrology, Transcendental Meditation, Animism, Yoruba, and Numerology. While I don’t consider myself an expert in these forementioned areas, they enrich my Jupiterian, big-picture approach to my work as an astrologer.
Also, in the spirit of community and collective offerings during this Neptune in Aries transit over my North Node in the 11th House, I’m offering my cosmic expertise at discounted rates to those in collective spaces—independent journalists, activists, community organizers, and professionals in equity and education, etc. My readings can often bridge the gap between Natal and Mundane Astrology, providing tailored guidance as we navigate this historical era of major collective shifts.
