From high-budget complex shoots to micro-budget passion projects, Audrey Lorea is committed to bringing excellence to the table in everything she does.

In addition to screenwriting, Audrey has worked behind the scenes with many globally recognized brands in the film, media, and episodic industry for over ten years. She was the winner of the 2021 Stowe Story Lab fellowship, sponsored by HollyShorts Film Festival. She was a Semi-Finalist for the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices fellowship to the 2020 Stowe's Narrative Lab, and was admitted to the 2020 Stowe Narrative Lab. She placed in the Top 20 Finalists for the 2020 Film Empire Diversity Screenwriting Membership. Other recent semi-finalist, quarter-finalist and finalist screenwriting placements include : the WeScreenplay TV Pilot Competition, Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest, ScreenCraft Drama Competition, Filmmatic Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship, Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, the Finish Line Script Competition, Miami Screenplay Awards, and the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition . Lastly, her script “Blood Dog” is in the Top 2% of all scripts and all Drama at Coverfly.

She was an Associate Producer on a limited series called “The Green Veil” starring John Leguizamo, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2022, and is forthcoming in distribution. At the end of 2020, she produced a film about essential workers of color called “For Armetta” for The Essential Campaign, directed by Academy-Award winner Kevin Wilson, Jr. and Executive Produced by Angela Bassett. She consulted on the feature film “Abe,” starring Noah Schnapp (Stranger Things) which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2019. Other recent consulting credits include: “Framing John Delorean” with XYZ Films, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, and “The Artist’s Wife” starring Lena Olin and Bruce Dern.

Her debut micro-budget feature film, “Heaven is Now,” was the First Prize Feature Film winner and premiered in Los Angeles at Film Crash, co-founded by Sundance Jury Winner Matthew Harrison. She was an Executive Producer on the film "Bad Candy" starring Constance Shulman. A commercial she produced won “Best Commercial” at the LA Ind. Film Festival. She was the second unit director of the road-trip film, ‘Detours’ (featuring Richard Kind, Paul Sorvino). Other producing highlights include “Rufus” (Moxie Pictures), “Green Eyes” (Whiplash Films), and “Girl Night Stand” which garnered press with Bustle, Huffington Post and more.

Audrey has worked extensively in Location Scouting and Managment on the indie and studio level — which has armed her with years of self-motivated work with the ability to thrive in a high stress environment. From handling complex budgets to management of large teams, the skillset of Location Management can be applied to any type of Management and Producing role within any company or on any set.

Before her film career, Audrey lead another life in the nonprofit, activism and peacekeeping worlds. She earned a B.A. degree in International Relations and Global Economics, did research with Ford Foundation on Human Rights Initiatives, and worked for a communications firm that worked with both Israeli and Palestinian clients towards peace.  As a queer woman, she continues to be an informed activist today, with her activism background at the core of every project to which she commits. It is her priority to partner with projects that cultivate strong leadership roles with and for intersectional and diverse voices across all spectrums and communities: including Women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and more.
